Shipping policy

 

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Please note order processing times are separate from the shipping times you see at checkout. 

Include any other pertinent information towards the beginning, such as potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control.

These time frames below are not guaranteed, as weather and mail volume can affect delivery.

Local Delivery

We are currently offer paid and free delivery to any location 40km away from our store.  Local delivery option will be shown at checkout If your address is eligible.

Order placed 0-2 km from store (ie. Sutton, ON) :

Flat rate $4 

FREE delivery for orders $45+

Order placed 2-45 km from store (eg. some part in Barrie, Georgina, Newmarket, AuroraStouffville, ON):

Flat rate $7 for minimum order $35

FREE delivery on orders over $70

 

We currently deliver orders on every SATURDAY and MONDAY, anytime between 1-6pm. We do not accept PO box for delivery address.

Delivery times and dates are estimates and can vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions and other factors that may be out of our control. If such event arises we will contact you through email and in most situations will adjust delivery to the following day. We will outline the details of the delay and the adjustment in our email.

Your order is considered delivered once our delivery team has placed your order at your residence. Unless otherwise specified in the delivery notes, this includes:

  • At your front doorstep in a home.
  • With the receptionist or at the front door of a business.
  • In the lobby of an apartment building if no apartment number is provided.

We will presume that anyone present in the specified location is authorized to receive delivery on your behalf. If no persons are present, your order will be left unattended in the most fit location at your delivery address. You are responsible for ensuring that we are given the best instructions for making your delivery successfully.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@butternsoapco.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Include a link for customers to track their orders if available.

 

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. For more information, please contact info@butternsoapco.ca..


Refunds, returns, and exchanges

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.  Refunds are offered up to 14 days from date of purchase with receipt.  A store credit is offered up to 30 days from date of purchase with receipt.  NO CASH REFUNDS.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@butternsoapco.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
